Strategic Meeting: PGG Engages with ITB Alumni Community for Golf Tournament Organization
Persatuan Golf Ganesha (PGG) recently held a significant meeting involving various active ITB Alumni Communities engaged in organizing golf tournaments. In attendance at this meeting was IA-ITB Jakarta, actively participating as the ITB alumni association responsible for organizing the “Jakarta Open Golf Tournament”. The meeting, which took place on December 15, 2023, at the Pondok Indah Driving Range, aimed to fortify collaborations, plan activities for the year 2024, and deepen the close relationship between PGG and the ITB alumni communities.
During the discussions, several crucial points were raised. Firstly, an evaluation of the 2023 event organization was addressed. ITB Alumni Communities provided invaluable feedback, offering profound insights into both the successes and areas for improvement for forthcoming events.
Further discussions encompassed the mapping of ITB alumni community activities for the year 2024, becoming an integral part of the discourse to allow for better coordination among them and creating opportunities for greater synergy. This included preempting scheduling conflicts in tournament organization.
An announcement regarding the launch of PGG’s social media was also made during this meeting. This social media platform is envisioned as a significant avenue for alumni to interact, stay updated with the latest information, and promote golf activities.
Adhika Caksana, the Chairperson of PGG, stated, “This meeting has laid a strong foundation for closer collaboration between PGG and the ITB alumni communities. We hope this partnership will advance the world of golf, strengthen relationships among members, and foster the development of even more memorable tournaments.”
