On Wednesday, January 10, 2024, IA-ITB Jakarta, the Ganesha Golf Association (PGG), and ITB 2002 officially gathered at Damai Indah – BSD Course to discuss further preparations for the Jakarta Open golf tournament. This meeting marks a strategic step in planning the detailed events scheduled to take place on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at the same location on the Damai Indah – BSD Course golf course.

The Jakarta Open golf tournament, expected to be attended by 144 players, is a tangible demonstration of collaboration between IA-ITB Jakarta, PGG, and ITB 2002 in supporting the development of golf in Indonesia, particularly in Jakarta.

Stanno Yudha Putra, the Executive Director of IA-ITB Jakarta and the Chairman of the Jakarta Open Tournament Committee, expressed gratitude to all parties, registered players, partners, and sponsors who provided maximum support. “We are very grateful for the support given by various parties in welcoming the Jakarta Open golf tournament by IA-ITB Jakarta. During the meeting, the Ganesha Golf Association (PGG) and the ITB 2002 chapter expressed full support for the Jakarta Open. Adhika Caksana, the Chairman of PGG, appreciated IA-ITB Jakarta’s active role in organizing the golf tournament. “PGG appreciates the commitment of IA-ITB Jakarta in building networks and partnerships among ITB alumni in Jakarta. We are ready to support and send our golfers to participate in this tournament,” said Adhika Caksana.

In line with PGG, Husnul Furqon, the Chairman of ITB 2002, added, “We, from the 2002 batch, are proud to be part of the Jakarta Open collaboration. Jakarta Open is a real testament to how ITB alumni can unite to develop golf in Indonesia.”
